Up for auction: A gem from the early Art Nouveau period. The cutlery set “Chinoise” was manufactured by the metal goods factory Gebrüder Noelle, it has a rich and imaginative decor with cranes, dragonflies and flowers and is absolutely museum-worthy and collectable. The knife blades are still original. The cutlery pieces have different ornamental patterns on the front an back.
Consisting of:
6 dinner knives
6 dinner forks
2 dinner spoons
In good condition for its age, with traces of wear.
Hallmarked with an arrow to the right and “ARGONID”, see exemplary photos 16/17.
