2 decorative objects that were originally designed to be mantel garnitures beside a mantelpiece clock, very likely from french manufacturer ODYV (1929-1939).
Extremely typical of the Art Deco movement, with their symetrical designs and their geometrical figures such as triangles and steps.
Celadon green (light green) ceramic with silver ornaments on the borders.
Numbered under the bases.
France, 1930s.
Dimensions per piece : 14.5 x 4 x 15cm (5.7" x 1.6" x 5.9") - 615g (21.7oz)
Good overall condition, but lacks of silver ornaments on some parts and a tiny crack on one of the 2 pieces (please see pictures).
!! Warning : do not use them as vases, they are not designed to receive water !!
