This is the original artwork painted for Look and Learn no. 656 (10 August 1974).
Gerry Wood was a hugely popular illustrator working in British comics during the 1970s and was responsible for a huge amount of Covers, Double page Spreads and illustrated articles. His unmistakable style exudes energy and action.
