Dial and Hands
The dial of this Oysterdate Precision is a striking study in contrast, featuring a deep black surface accented by applied gold-tone faceted baton indices and a prominent applied Rolex coronet at the twelve o'clock position. The gilt-tone text, reading "ROLEX OYSTERDATE" and "PRECISION," remains crisp and perfectly legible. The dial is remarkably clean, showing virtually no signs of spotting, moisture damage, or discoloration, presenting a highly attractive and uniform appearance. The gold-tone baton hands are well-preserved, complementing the indices perfectly and maintaining their sharp profile. A classic date aperture at three o'clock completes the balanced layout, framed by the signature "- T SWISS T -" designation at the bottom edge. 

Case and Crystal
The 34mm stainless steel Oyster case remains in excellent vintage condition, displaying an honest and attractive wear profile. The brushed finish on the top of the lugs contrasts handsomely with the polished case flanks and the smooth polished bezel. The lug profiles retain good definition and thickness, avoiding the over-polished look often seen in watches of this era. The reference number "6694" and serial number "2092533" are clearly engraved and legible between the lugs. The original signed Rolex screw-down crown operates smoothly and sits flush against the case side. The watch is fitted with an acrylic crystal featuring the iconic cyclops magnification lens over the date, which presents clearly with only minor surface wear consistent with careful use. 

Movement
Inside beats a robust and reliable Rolex manual-wind movement, beautifully finished and meticulously engineered. Close inspection reveals crisp engravings on the bridges, including "MONTRES ROLEX S.A. GENEVA SWISS" and "17 RUBIS," indicating a 17-jewel caliber. The movement components appear clean and well-maintained, with the gears and screw heads presenting excellently under magnification. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. Timegrapher results show -10 to 18 seconds per day.

Strap
The watch is presented on its original stainless steel Rolex folded-link Oyster bracelet, reference 7835 19, with endlinks stamped "60" and "57". The bracelet shows moderate stretch typical of folded-link construction but remains structurally sound and highly wearable. The folding clasp is deeply stamped with the Rolex coronet on the exterior and displays clear "ROLEX," "STEELINOX," and "SWISS MADE" engravings on the inner blades. It accommodates a wrist size of up to 18cm.

Condition
This timepiece is in excellent vintage condition. The case exhibits normal, honest signs of wear with light surface scratches but retains strong geometry and appealing finishes. The dial is the undeniable highlight, remaining flawlessly clean and visually striking. The movement is visually clean and mechanically sound, and the bracelet, while showing expected vintage stretch, completes the authentic presentation.
