Large sought-after figurine from Lladró, depicting two Inuit children in traditional winter clothing. The model is called “Arctic Couple” and is designed by Juan Huerta, launched in 1971. The figurine was made in Lladró’s characteristic matte stoneware/gres finish. The figurine has a fine design language with calm expressions and subdued color tones. A decorative and period example of Lladró’s figurine art from the latter part of the 20th century. Marking: Marked on the bottom with Lladró stamp (see picture).
