The original spirit was distiled in 1990 and divided into two batches, which then took diverging paths for the next quarter century. Batch one first matured for 17 years in refill bourbon casks, followed by 5 years in premium French wine casks and 4 years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Batch two began its maturation in refill sherry butts, and after 18 years was transferred into Oloroso sherry casks. Only in 2016 these two whiskies were brought together to create a profound, rich and complex dram. One of 6000 bottles. Buyers are responsible for any customs charges.
