Royal Dux - Figurine - Blue Joker - Porcelain
A very rare blue piece of the master Vladimir David.
The academic sculptor Vladimír David was born in 1921 in Yugoslavia. He studied at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague. From 1949 to 1963 he was an assistant at the same Academy, in the porcelain and ceramics department. In the mid-50s, he began his collaboration with the Royal Dux porcelain factory.
The clown at auction was designed by him in 1974 for the Royal Dux Bohemian porcelain factory.
