When consultation with the ancestors is needed these figures are placed on these altars or they are re-used again. To empower these figurines special dyes are poured over these items or they are rubbed with special substances like the ocre on these three figurines. Typical robot-like designs, typical for these type of figurines used by the Ewe. height; 21-21-24 cm. Collected in Togo in the late 1990`s.
