Corina Schroeder - Eyes of innocence

Acrylic on canvas, 50 x 60 x 3,5 cm. Painting in excellent condition. Sealed with varnish. Handsigned on the front. A certificate of authenticity is placed on the back of the painting.. Perfect and sturdy packaging. You will also receive a tracking number. About the painting: The image shows a colorful, modern portrait of a young woman, done in an expressive, painterly style. Subject: A young woman with dark, brown hair that is loosely pinned up, with individual strands framing her face. She looks directly at the viewer over her right shoulder. Her expression seems calm, almost a little melancholic or thoughtful. Her eyes are large and emphasized, the lips are a soft red tone. The skin shows vibrant light reflections in shades of yellow and orange. Style: The paint application is rough and textured, giving the work a dynamic and modern energy. Overall, the portrait appears very lively and emotionally appealing thanks to the strong complementary colors. About the artist: My name is Corina Madalina Schröder. I was born in Timisoara, Romania, in 1969 and grew up in the Satu Mare region (Transylvania). I came to Germany at the age of 43. I lived and worked there in Bad Säckingen am Rhein until 2023. The direct proximity to the Swiss border, the central location in Europe and the diversity of the people there gave me many creative influences and so I painted in a very modern and lively way and was able to present my pictures in many exhibitions. (including Germany, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland). In June 2023 I moved with my husband to beautiful, sunny Spain, to Benijofar, south of Alicante. Here, strongly influenced by the wonderful sea, the great light, the friendliness of the people and the Mediterranean atmosphere, my passion for painting received new impulses. I love painting. Even as a child, I was fascinated by using pens and brushes. I always went forward courageously, learned a lot and my artistic talent was born into me through my mother, who was a painter and art teacher. So I started not only painting but also creating all sorts of things. Be it sewing, knitting and modeling with clay. I love individual design and today especially expressive painting. Especially in today's fast-paced times, where people are quick to evaluate and harshly comment, I find it particularly important to be able to calmly and calmly indulge in the joy of one's own creativity. Without “right or wrong” but just completely ME... Since the beginning, my works have been exhibited in several german and international exhibitions, art salons and galleries, such as: Brugge, Madrid, Venice, Bucarest, Basel, London, Paris etc...
