Konstantin "Zmogk" Danilov (1979) - Urban Echo

- Technique details: Acrylic and spray paint on cotton canvas. Coated. - Certificate of Authenticity provided - Accurately packed in a box - Shipping to USA via FedEX Please note: - Possible color deviations are due to light, monitor and camera. - For buyers outside the EU, additional duties and fees may apply. Urban Echo is an abstract painting I created through an intuitive painting process. Each decision was made in the moment, without a fixed plan. Layers of shapes slowly build the composition, forming soft intersections and shifting boundaries. The painting develops as a reaction to the previous gesture, following an inner rhythm rather than strict logic. The fluorescent edges do not close the image but extend it beyond the canvas, suggesting that the border between the work and the surrounding space is only temporary. The work reflects a feeling of lightness, as a quiet moment when tension fades and everything begins to settle naturally into balance. Bio. Konstantin Danilov (b. 1979, Moscow) is a painter and muralist based in Athens, Greece. A pioneer of Russia’s 1990s graffiti scene, his practice evolved toward Color Field painting, blending bold spatial compositions with psychological and emotional depth. He has exhibited at major institutions such as the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, RuArts Foundation, and Burning Man x Sotheby’s (New York). His works are part of notable collections, including the STRAAT Museum (Amsterdam), Montresso Foundation, RuArts Foundation. Danilov has held solo shows at Triumph Gallery, Fineart Gallery, and Reloft Art in Moscow, and has participated in international fairs such as Urban Art Fair (Paris) and Affordable Art Fair (Amsterdam). His street art projects span over 20 countries, from Hong Kong to Paris and from New York to Jakarta. His work explores themes of emotional perception, ecological fragility, and transformation of personality and the interaction between one’s inner world and the external environment, including in the context of emigration. Using techniques such as painting around the edges of the canvas to reflect the hidden emotional layers that frame our conscious experience. Instagram: @zmogk
