Omdat de veer in het opwindmechanisme gebroken of afgerold is, kan uurwerk niet opgewonden worden (is eenvoudig te repareren). Het opwindmechanisme van het 'belletje' werkt wel. Het houtsnijwerk is zonder meer prachtig. Het sleuteltje en slingertje zijn origineel.
