Vintage Soviet Medical Lamp. Minin's Reflector. Retro Physio-therapeutic Device. Blue Lamp. Electric Health Care Gadget. Made in USSR. Dated 1973. Fully hallmarked. Well preserved. For physiotherapy, the reflector was first used in 1891 by the Russian military doctor A.V. Minin. The therapeutic effect of the reflector is based on the directional infrared (ordinary thermal) radiation of the bulb (wavelength from 760 nm to 2 μm). The therapeutic effect is achieved by heating the part of the body to which the light is directed. The item is in excellent vintage condition, no chips and cracks, no repairs. Some small and insignificant traces of half century of age. Fully working condition, will be supply with original bulb. The plug is according the older standard, for use one need adapter.
