Coloured Latin map of the Iberian peninsula including the Balearic Islands, with the tip of Africa to the lower edge and a small cartouche with the title to the lower left corner. Author/Engraver unknown, but likely by Cluverius/Philipp Clüver (1580-1622), a German cartographer. Probably late 1600s, ca. 1680. Page size approx 22 x 17 cm, minor marks and foxing, previously had a small perforation 13 x 4 mm affecting the north-west tip of Spain which has now been professionally repaired to the verso, minor foxing, light use wear and marks. The before and after of the repair can be seen in the photos. Now in a protective plastic sleeve.
