Blended Scotch Whisky 70cl / 40% An old decanter of Chivas Regal Royal Salute 21-Year-Old Blend, bottled in what's rather ostentatiously called a Sapphire Jug (a dark blue ceramic bottle). This sapphire jug of Royal Salute 21-Year-Old whisky dates from the late 1990s or early 2000s, so the whisky itself was likely distilled in the late 1970s or early 1980s. Royal Salute itself was launched in 1953 to celebrate the Queen's coronation and has been one of the finest long-aged blends ever since, undoubtedly thanks in large part to the Strathisla grape in the recipe.
