NWA 17078 極めて希少な未分類の不結晶質超基性隕石 - 13.36 g - (1)

NWA 17078 Ungrouped achondrite Ultramafic meteorite. Discovered in March 2022. Near Ounane area in Mali. 13.36 Grams. EXTREMELY RARE ACHONDRITE METEORITE This is officially classified and approved as NWA 17078 Ungrouped achondrite Ultramafic meteorite. Classified and studied by world renowned and profoundly respected Dr Anthony J. Irving and team at Department of Earth and Space sciences, University of Washington. GUARANTEED AUTHENTICITY The authenticity of this meteorite is 100% guaranteed with a signed certificate Free first tracked express class delivery. Meteoritical Bulletin data: Petrography: (A. Irving, UWS, and P. Carpenter, WUSL) The studied specimen has an overall protogranular texture and is composed predominantly of highly magnesian mafic silicates (forsterite and enstatite). Forsterite occurs as distributed polycrystalline domains (mean grainsize ~0.5 mm) whereas enstatite is present as separated grains (up to ~3 mm in size) with included grains of forsterite and with distinctive Fe oxide staining (brown in thin section). Accessory phases include intermediate plagioclase, kamacite (altered to Fe oxides), Cr-bearing troilite and schreibersite. Some cross-cutting veinlets of goethite are present. Geochemistry: Enstatite (Fs1.1-1.2Wo0.9-2.0, FeO/MnO = 2, N = 4), forsterite (Fa1.1-1.3, FeO/MnO = 3-4, N = 4), augite (Fs0.5-0.8Wo41.8-42.1, FeO/MnO = 1-2, N = 4), oligoclase (An18.3-23.9Or0.6, N = 3), andesine (An38.1=38.5Or0.2, N = 2). Classification: Achondrite (ungrouped, ultramafic).
