水差し - Copper - 19世紀

Antique Water pitcher - copper - France - 19th century Product Story This is a water pitcher that a major Japanese trading company purchased in France and brought back to Japan in the 1970s. (In the 1970s, Japan was in a period of rapid economic growth and had abundant funds, and expensive artworks and antiques from around the world were gathering in Japan.) This water pitcher comes with a certificate indicating that it was made in the 19th century. It is believed to be from Central Asia. I am a dealer of Japanese artworks and antiques, and I found this at a local Japanese antique auction. Since my knowledge of European antiques is limited, please refer to the photos for a detailed assessment. Although there is copper rust and corrosion on the back of the lid and the bottom, the preservation condition is quite good for an antique. Material: copper Size 43.5 x 22.5 x 18.5cm We will ship it with insurance and tracking by airmail. We will try our best to dispatch it as soon as possible. However, the delivery days may be delayed depending on the current postal situations. --About the tariff-- Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/ buying. In some European countries, there is an occasional double payment of VAT. If this happens, please contact catawiki or Customs. We can't do anything about it. We appreciate your kind understandings.
