Columbia - Viva-tonal グラフォノラ No. 112 フィールド 蓄音機
Antique 1920s Columbia Viva-tonal Grafonola No. 112 – The Quintessential British Picnic/Field Gramophone. Emerging in the late 1920s, the "Viva-tonal" line was engineered to provide a richer, more resonant acoustic range, making it one of the most successful portable gramophones of the pre-electric era. Housed in its original black "Rexine" (textured cloth) case this model 112 features the iconic internal horn design that eliminated the need for a bulky external horn. It is a masterpiece of mechanical simplicity.
The gramaphone winds up and runs smoothly although it has not been tested with a record. There are spare needles, the carry handle is missing.
