Vieillard & Cie (Bordeaux) Sauce Boat Origin: Bordeaux, France. Period: Late 19th Century (c. 1887-1895). Details: Features a dual-stamped base: the manufacturer mark of J. Vieillard & Cie and the pink retailer mark of the luxury Parisian boutique "Au Vase Étrusque" (Louis Damon). Decoration: Elegant "faience fine" with relief handles and hand-finished floral and olive branch motifs. Condition: Excellent antique condition with minor age-related crazing. Item 2: S.C. Numbered "0919" on the base, indicating a small-batch artisan production. Condition: Very good, with light shelf wear on the unglazed base rim.
