装飾トレー - Urania - アール・ヌーヴォー/ユーゲントシュティール

Decorative tray by Urania factory, Holland. Urania was founded in Maastricht in 1903 by Hubert Regout, a grandson of Petrus Regout. It was a clear copy of the Kaiser tin from the German Jugendstil or Art Nouveau movement, made by JP Kayser & Sohn, among others. After 7 years, the demand for this style had already passed, so the factory had to close. In that time there are probably about 400 different items made, almost all of tin. There are 2 known designers: Friedrich Adler (1878-1942) and Hans Peter (1856-1945), both Germans who were bought away from similar factories. Very good condition with normal wear to silver plating. No damage at all. EU shipping only.
