A religious statue depicting Saint Martin (São Martinho), with his bishop´s staff and a bowl of grapes. Carved from wood and likely of Central European or Portuguese origin. The polychrome statue is in good condition, showing clear signs of age, and is attributed to the 19th century. A very interesting statue of the patron saint of the grape harvest. Please see photos.
