David Andersen (1843–1901) was a renowned Norwegian goldsmith and silversmith who founded a workshop in Oslo in 1876, specializing in high-quality jewelry and silverware. After his death, at the very young age of 58, his son, Arthur David-Andersen, continued the legacy, introducing enamel work and the Art Nouveau style, ensuring the company's prominence in Norwegian craftsmanship.
