A rare 17th-century tin spoon by Charles Yardley of London, circa 1625–1640, with a round bowl and hexagonal stem, measuring 17.5 cm in length, 5.8 cm bowl width, 2.8 cm height, and weighing 76.10 g, in good used condition with minor signs of aging and staining.

珍しい17世紀の錫製スプーン - Charles Yardley、ロンドン circa 1630
唯一無二で歴史的なコレクションアイテム: authentic、early 17th-century tinnen spoon (Puritan spoon) with a distinctive round bowl and hexagonal shaft. This lot is of exceptional quality due to the very sharp and rare caster's mark.
Specifications & kenmerken
Maker: Charles Yardley (active approx. 1620–1640)
Origin: London, England (historically traded/discovered in Western Europe)
Dating: Circa 1625 – 1640 (Early Baroque / Puritan period)
Material: High-quality tin
Tinmark / Hallmark: Exceptionally clear struck stamp in the bowl. Shows the crowned shield with the St. George cross (London), flanked by the initials C and Y.
Condition: Beautiful, authentic condition with a deep, historical patina.
Details: The spoon is straight and the shaft is fully intact. No coarse restorations or cracks. The metal surface has remained beautifully conserved (see detail photos for your own impression).
