An excellent oriented OC meteorite from Morocco, weighing 1462 grams. The main fragment of the meteorite was found by Philippe Taurand in 2025, and the smaller fitting "cap" fragment was subsequently purchased from a local merchant. This is one of my most recent classifications, and you will be buying from the main mass holder. Except for the type specimen required for classification and a few small sections which will remain with me, this is all there is of this meteorite. The buyer will also receive (upon request) a few microscope thin-section, cross-polarised light images taken by the classifier, showing various types of chondrules and the matrix of the specimen. I am a member of the Meteoritical Society (#7743) and have been collecting meteorites for over 15 years.
