Here we have a wonderful pair of mid 20th Century oil on canvas by the specialist artist J. Harvey. The artist mostly painted 17th century Naval Galleons in battles. The paintings feature ship at war with can balls exploding in the seas and setting fire to the ships. The artworks iare both signed lower right.
