She visited the Nagybánya artists’ colony twice and was a regular participant in the artists’ communities of Kecskemét, Szolnok, and Szentendre. From 1916 onwards, she exhibited her landscapes and figurative works regularly in Budapest exhibitions.

About the artist:
Bende Jánosné (Kovacsev Friderika) graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in 1922. Her masters included Lajos Deák-Ébner, István Csók, István Réti, and Oszkár Glatz.
