Panoramas of major Iberian cities and fortresses are presented in oval and curved frames: Top left: Lisbona, Sevilia, Madrid (the royal capital in the center of a large cartouche). Bottom left: Granada (the historic Moorish fortress city). Bottom center: Cisterna Granatensis (a cistern or fortification near Granada). Bottom right: Toledo (the ancient imperial city)
Contemporary regional costumes are depicted along the edges, showcasing the diversity of the population.
