An absolute rarity. The ‘Kowa Projection Anamorphic-8 2x’ is the 8 mm projection anamorphic counterpart to the Kowa Prominar 8-B, a 13 mm f/1.9 lens with 2x magnification, which was manufactured for the ‘Kowa Optical Kallo Gold’ 8 mm camera. It is a prism-based anamorphic lens designed for connection to an 8 mm or Super 8 projector, but, like the more commonly available Delrama 8mm Projection lens, it can also be used as a ‘shoot-through’ anamorphic attachment on a camera fitted with a suitable shooting lens. The lens is in very good condition. There are no spots, scratches or mould visible on the optical elements, only a very small amount of dust.
