Myers” and dated 1882. The relief depicts an elegant allegorical garden or spring scene with cherubs/putti in high relief, executed in refined neoclassical style. The artwork is set in an ornate gilt frame with a beautiful aged patina. The reverse still retains its original medallion inscribed “Arts and Commerce Promoted”.
