Very scarce. First edition. The BNF states circa 1860.
Charming children's story, with eight hand coloured illustrations.
Little Cécile names her doll Abcd, until she can think of a better name!
Covers are hardback, with laid on hand coloured decoration. Somewhat darkened, and especially to spine, which is also a little bumped at the base.
Inside the book is in good shape, but does have some offsetting and some finger marks / spots.
