Encostas de Alqueva - エクストラヴァージンオリーブオイル - 9 - 750ml Bottle

PLEASE NOTE: This is a recurring auction. The seal number(s) you see on the photos might differ from the one(s) on your bottle(s). Encostas de Alqueva Extra Virgin Olive Oil 9 x 750ml Alentejo Region DESCRIPTION Our history merges with the history of the Bio family. It is born from this family's passion for their origins, their land, their people and the preservation of their identity. A story that originates on the left bank of the Guadiana, in the interior of Alentejo, but which today expands to other territories in the country. Always with the same philosophy and the same determination, to contribute to preserving the best of Portuguese identity and valuing its people. Alentejo is the birthplace of Abegoaria and it is here that the greatest multiplicity of projects can be found, which are as diverse as they are rich in experiences. Adega Granja Amareleja is a standard for the tradition and quality of wines from the left bank of the Guadiana. Amareleza Vinhos reflects the irreverence of its main creator, winemaker José Piteira. Unconditional master of ancestral winemaking techniques in the region – the famous carved wines. Herdade da Madeira Velha, the reference for the quality of Évoramonte wines. Our Vidigueira wines are born in one of the most particular and emblematic sub-regions of the entire Alentejo, responsible for creating wines of the highest quality and strong personality. Herdade do Gamito is one of our most recent projects in Alentejo. Located in Crato, in Alto Alentejo, it is an estate with unique characteristics, with distinct plots of high individuality, where large granite rocks are often found. This is one of the strongholds for creating the group's fine wine category, a project headed by winemaker António Braga. But the Abegoaria project in Alentejo is not just about wine. The focus on olive oils, cheeses, sausages and ham from Barrancos marks a new stage in the diversification into other gourmet products. OLIVE VARIETIES: Cobrançosa, Cordovil, Verdeal & Galega. EXTRACTION PROCESS Superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives from traditional olive groves, solely through mechanical processes. TASTING NOTES It presents itself as a complex olive oil, which through the combination of four varieties of olives, acquires a ripe and sweet fruity aroma, with a slight bitterness and spice, which gives it balance and superior sensorial harmony. SERVING Ideal as a seasoning in Mediterranean cuisine, including seasoning for salads, sausages, gazpachos, sweets and many other delicacies.
