This is a three-legged incense burner handcrafted by the renowned Kutani ware master, Kikusen. The body employs Kutani ware's classic cobalt blue technique, with a black background densely covered with hand-painted blue-green dots and curling floral patterns outlined in gold thread. The rim and base are decorated with iron-red and gold cloud and meander patterns. The lid is entirely gilded, adorned with openwork radiating flues, and topped with a gilded lion-shaped knob. The base has three iron-red and gold cloud-patterned legs, with the inscription "Kutani Kikusen" in red seal script at the center. This incense burner is entirely hand-painted, each piece showcasing a unique arrangement of cobalt blue dots and gold thread details. The entire incense burner is in excellent condition. There are no obvious chips or cracks in the porcelain body, and the hand-painted cobalt blue dots show no significant wear.
