Islamic Bronze リング - 西暦11世紀から14世紀 (No reserve price)

Islamic Bronze Signet Ring with Star Motif – Islamic Culture – 11th to 14th Century AD A bronze signet ring featuring a circular bezel decorated with a recessed six-pointed star motif enclosed within a raised border. Geometric star designs were widely employed throughout the medieval Islamic world, appearing on architecture, metalwork, textiles and personal ornaments. The motif reflects the strong preference for abstract and mathematical ornamentation characteristic of Islamic artistic traditions during the Middle Ages. The ring is cast in bronze and displays a broad bezel with carefully executed relief decoration. The surface bears an attractive archaeological patina ranging from olive green to brown tones, accompanied by mineral encrustations and age-related wear consistent with long burial. The star remains clearly visible and forms the focal point of the composition, giving the piece both decorative and symbolic appeal. Examples of this type were worn as personal adornments and occasionally served as simple seal rings. Material: Bronze Dimensions: 2.0 × 2.2 cm Weight: 5.1 g Provenance: Acquired in Germany. Former German private collection assembled during the 1990s. All items come with CoA.
