パルティアの金製イヤリング、紀元前3世紀～紀元前1世紀
細密に作られた一組のパルティア風金製イヤリング。三日月形のフープに、精巧な打ち出し紋の粒状装飾、透かし彫り、巻線装飾、盛り上った球状要素が施されています。片方のイヤリングには、粒状ビーズの垂れ下がる房が飾られ、もう一方は丸みを帯びたペンダントで終わるデザインで、パルティア貴族の高度な宝飾文化を反映しています。そのような装飾品は、紀元前後の末期ヘレニズム期から早期パルティア期の東方イラン世界において、富と地位の象徴として身に着けられていました。
このイヤリングは卓越した職人技と驚くべき保存状態を示しており、繊細な装飾ディテールと原型の形をよく保っています。エレガントなデザインと技術的な洗練は、古代近東の金細工の優れた例であり、古典・パルティアの美術品コレクターにとって極めて魅力的な一品です。
