Offered here is a very rare original Norwegian pressing of Paul McCartney – Another Day / Oh Woman, Oh Why, issued in 1971 on the Apple label under catalogue number 7E 006-04758 M. This is a highly desirable Scandinavian pressing, complete with its rare and unique Norwegian picture sleeve. The sleeve design, with its strong pink layout and “Paul McCartney” typography, is one of the more attractive local European variations of McCartney’s debut solo single. The label also features the boxed NCB, also exists with unboxed NCB. Another Day was Paul McCartney’s first single as a solo artist after The Beatles, backed with Oh Woman, Oh Why. Released in 1971, it became an international hit and is an essential early McCartney solo release. The Norwegian Apple edition is much harder to find than many standard European pressings, especially with the original picture sleeve still present. A beautiful and collectable copy for fans of Paul McCartney, Apple Records, Scandinavian Beatles-related pressings, and rare picture sleeve variations.
