古代の銀の指輪、カーネリアンの陰刻カメオ付き
ローマ帝政期、紀元1世紀から3世紀頃。
卵形のカーネリアン陰刻カメオには、左向きの女性の横顔が細密に彫られており、髪は頭飾りまたはベールの下に整えられ、肩には stylized（スタイライズド）衣装をまとっています。透光性のある赤橙色の石は豊かな自然な色調の変化と内部含有物を示し、彫られた肖像の深みを引き立てます。幅広く先細りする銀の輪は、長い埋葬と古代性に相応しい経年の使用痕と表面のパティネを示します。
