In this lot: A black lower jaw, anterior Megalodon tooth from the South East of the United States. This dagger like tooth is authentic, unrestored and 100% in the form it was found in. Teeth from this area have generally a more rough and rugged appearance due to the sediment and conditions they are found in. This tooth has survived those conditions remarkably well. The tooth measures 11,94 cm. The crown has a beautiful deep black color. It has a great shape, color and sturdy root. The serrations on both sides are very well visible. Which is not very common in "river teeth." Completely black teeth from this area are much more rare. This fossil would be a nice addition to any collection.
