Olympus F.Zuiko Auto-T 300 4.5 望遠レンズ

Olympus F-Zuiko Auto-T 300 mm 4.5 A very solidly built ('built like a tank') telephoto lens from the famous OM era, the best years of Olympus. It features an all-metal housing with a massive focus ring. The aperture ring switches in full stops. The filter size is 72 mm. Thanks to the automatic mode, you continue to see the clear image of the widest aperture opening in the viewfinder. The lens hood is attached to the lens and can be slid forward and backward; it is made entirely of metal. The lens is in excellent condition and shows only light signs of use. The image quality of this telephoto lens is what you would expect from the golden age of the OM system. The lens has 6 elements in 4 groups and features 8 aperture blades, which produces beautiful round 'bokeh balls' when stopping down. Focusing is easy with the large focus ring with a firm grip. Although the lens is solid and contains a lot of high-quality glass, it is not excessively heavy, weighing only one kilogram. The glass on this particular unit is clean (no greasy fingerprints, dirt, mold, or haze). The focus and aperture rings rotate smoothly. With a suitable adapter, it is also excellent for use on modern digital cameras (DSLR and Mirrorless). The accompanying photo of a flower was taken with this lens (this copy), using an extension ring and adapter (neither included). It is a beautiful lens and the results are very nice, but working with an analog telephoto lens has become too labor-intensive for me. • Weight 1020 g • Aperture 4.5 – 32 • 8 aperture blades • Automatic aperture (Auto-T) • Angle of view 8 ° • Length 18.1 cm • Minimal chromatic aberration • Glass: High Refractive Index & Partial Dispersion Wonderfully sharp from corner to corner, beautiful bokeh, fantastic handling, especially for a 300 mm lens. The best results are obtained on a tripod-mounted camera with 'focus peaking'. With a camera with good built-in stabilization (Olympus or OM System), the lens can even be used perfectly well as a telephoto for wildlife subjects that are not moving too fast. On (Micro) FourThirds cameras, the lens has an effective view equivalent to a 600 mm due to the 2x crop factor. To get an idea of what this lens is capable of, see the attached photo of a flower. This lens has serial number 125122 and is, of course, “made in Japan”. The lens can be picked up in the Netherlands or shipped via DHL or PostNL (in the Netherlands).
