The vase has a well-proportioned full shape, featuring glossy glaze and delicate porcelain body. The surface is elaborately painted with peony motifs, with rich layers and natural colour gradients. Delicate gilt lines outline the patterns, presenting noble elegance combined with subtle Japanese aesthetics and superb craftsmanship. The base is stamped with the iconic Mt. Fuji mark of Fukagawa Seiji. The original paulownia tomobako bears handwritten inscriptions, ensuring complete provenance. Its paintings feature soft and premium tones, representing the finest modern Japanese ceremonial and decorative porcelain.
