Russian icon from the 19th century depicting Saint Theodosius of Totma.
The icon shows Theodosius standing in front of the monastery he founded near the town of Totma in 1554.
In the upper left corner there is a smaller depiction of the icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow".
The work is executed in tempera (quick-drying paint). on wood and has age-related patina on the surface. In good condition with normal surface wear.
