ビザンティン様式のブロンズリング – 西暦9世紀から12世紀
独特のビザンツ様式のブロンズリングで、中央の装飾を取り囲む突き出た横部を備えた、立ち上がった建築的ベゼルを特徴とします。元の嵌入部は失われており、構造用の台座が露出してリングの元の作りを示しています。
この種の指輪は一般に個人的な装飾品として着用され、時には着色ガラスや宝石、象徴的な装飾要素を嵌め込む台座としても用いられました。作品は保存状態の良い考古学的表面と、魅力的な緑褐色のパティネを示しており、何世紀にもわたる埋葬と年齢を反映しています。
