Entirely hand painted, a one of a kind creation by the artists who carefully painted different garden flowers on each cup and saucer, trimmed the scalloped edges and hand applied "twig" handles with gilt. The colors are bright and luscious, they stand out beautifully against the pristine White ground. Polychrome painting with scattered flowers, ornamental gilding, delicate forget-me-nots and other flowers, this pattern is of sublime delicacy. Floral painting on porcelain has a long tradition at the Meissen manufactory that has grown continually throughout the ages and continues on to this day.
