ヴェレ文化の儀礼用エペの珍品。発掘品であることが説明できるため、鉄刃は酸化により非常に劣化しています。
鞘と柄はブロンズ合金製。
この品質と古さのコレクション品として非常に稀になった品。
「wek suktunkak」は、ナイジェリアのヴェレ族（別名ヴェール／Were）によって作られた伝統的な短剣とその鞘の俗称名です。カメルーンとの国境近くに位置する地域の人々により製作されました。
推定年代 / 20世紀初頭以前と考えられます。
部族の習慣的使用品として、本物の品であることを示しています。
来歴／30年以上にわたり collection personal が集められた個人コレクション。
