Wedgwood Jasperware Collection – 6 Pieces – England – Circa 1970s A beautiful and highly decorative collection of six Jasperware pieces, showcasing the timeless elegance and craftsmanship for which Wedgwood is celebrated worldwide. The group features the iconic Portland Blue and Dark Blue tones alongside attractive Green and Terracotta examples, creating a visually rich and highly collectible ensemble. Some of these colourways are encountered less frequently than the traditional blue Jasperware, adding further interest for collectors. Each piece is decorated with finely detailed white neoclassical reliefs inspired by ancient Greek and Roman mythology, demonstrating the artistry and refinement that have made Jasperware one of England’s most recognisable ceramic traditions. The collection comprises: • Tall blue Wedgwood vase, impressed Wedgwood Made in England, dated 1975 • Dark blue oval Jasperware plaque/tray with impressed Wedgwood mark • Green Jasperware spill vase • Blue rectangular trinket box with lid • Green heart-shaped trinket box with lid • Terracotta rectangular trinket box with lid Condition Overall in good vintage condition with age-related signs of use and manufacture. The green spill vase has a visible crack to the reverse side, as shown in the photographs. The reverse of this vase bears no visible maker’s mark; however, it is produced in the Jasperware style and harmonises beautifully with the accompanying pieces. The remaining items present very well and retain excellent decorative appeal. Origin: England Period: Circa 1970s Material: Jasperware stoneware Number of pieces: 6 An attractive multicolour Jasperware collection combining classical beauty, decorative charm and a range of desirable colourways.
