6本の矢を収める矢筒
矢の shaft は竹で作られていました。厳選された素材から丁寧に作られ、すべて職人が一つずつ手作りしています。
3種類の矢が含まれており、それぞれ長さと直径がわずかに異なります。
最も長い矢の長さは89.5cm、最も短いのは85.4cmです。
この木製の矢筒には、相馬藩の家紋「九曜紋」が金色で描かれ、黒漆塗りの胴体に施されています。
背景と本品の歴史：
相馬藩は江戸時代に東北地方の小さな藩で、現在の福島県相馬市の中村城下町を拠点とした相馬氏によって統治されていました。
相馬氏の紋は九つの星を組んだ九曜紋をベースとしており、長年にわたる妙見信仰への深い信奉を視覚的に表現し、相馬藩とその武士の伝統の象徴となりました。

相馬野馬追（相馬野馬追い）は、福島県相馬地域で毎年行われる伝統的な武士の馬術祭りです。1,000年以上の歴史を持ち、もとは武術訓練として、侍たちが野生の馬を敵兵のように追いかけるものでした。
現在、祭りは3日間続き、実際の甲冑を着た騎手の大規模なパレード、装甲馬レース、空から降る聖旗を騎乗者がキャッチしようとするドラマチックな競技などが行われます。
