Vintage 1960 Hand-Cranked Pencil Sharpener Made in the USA Product Name: Apsco Dexter Super 10 Heavy Duty Desktop Hand-Cranked Pencil Sharpener Year of Production: 1960 Origin: Rockford, Illinois, USA Material: One-piece construction of steel and cast iron The entire unit features a retro industrial-style metal body. The main body has a light gray painted finish, paired with a heavy octagonal cast iron base, giving it a solid and substantial feel. A metal nameplate on the front displays the red Apsco circular logo, the model name DEXTER SUPER 10, and the original Type 10A cutting component markings. One side features a six-position adjustable aperture dial with six different sized holes to accommodate various pencil thicknesses, and the outer ring has a non-slip knurled texture. The other side extends with a metal hand crank that rotates smoothly without jamming. Condition: Overall good condition, works normally, with slight rust on the exterior, but this does not affect its use.
