イスラム教のカジャール様式アラムのフィニアル – 穿孔銅合金製儀礼用標準、彫刻入りカリグラフィー付き - 中央アジア - 1800年頃〜1900年頃

This Islamic ceremonial standard (Alam) finial is attributed to the Qajar period and dates to circa 1800–1900. The piece is crafted in pierced copper alloy and features intricate openwork decoration combined with engraved calligraphic elements. The finial is formed as a pear-shaped openwork frame with a flame-like crest at the top, a design characteristic of ceremonial standards used in religious and processional contexts. A cylindrical socket is attached at the base, intended for mounting onto a pole. The surface displays a well-developed natural patina with areas of oxidation, consistent with age and long-term preservation. The decoration includes a continuous band of engraved calligraphy running along the form. The inscriptions remain visible, although naturally softened by age and patina, and contribute significantly to the piece’s authentic historical and devotional character. Provenance: Acquired from a European private collection; previously obtained from an older British and European collection formed since the 1970s. Condition: Very good overall condition, well preserved, with natural patina and oxidation consistent with age. Please refer carefully to the photographs, which form an integral part of the description. Dimensions: Clearly visible in the photographs. Shipping: The item will be carefully packed and shipped securely to ensure safe delivery.
