Presenting the 8-Bit Caster, a unique, one-of-a-kind custom guitar built as the ultimate tribute to the legendary Commodore 64 home computer. This exclusive instrument is a creation of Six Blade Revival Station, a passionate hobbyist project dedicated to the creative redesign and technical modification of electric guitars. Following the successful completion of previous custom builds, this project blends 1980s computing heritage with modern guitar craftsmanship.

A Personal Story: A Tribute to a Childhood Best Friend
The inspiration behind this build comes from a deeply personal place. This guitar was created out of pure nostalgia and respect, designed to be a heartfelt tribute to the builder’s absolute best friend from his childhood: the Commodore 64. It is this emotional connection that drove the countless hours of meticulous work required to bring this 8-bit icon back to life in the form of a playable musical instrument.

Authentic Commodore Heritage & Parts
What makes this specific guitar a true collector's item is the integration of genuine retro history. This is not a modern replica with printed stickers; the Commodore logo badge, the "Power" plate, and the vintage serial number label on the back are all original parts salvaged from an authentic Commodore 64 system. By embedding these historic elements directly into the build, a piece of genuine 1980s computer history lives on within the instrument.

• The Base Instrument: Built using a brand-new Harley Benton ST-20 as the foundation, ensuring modern structural reliability, a comfortable maple neck, and solid hardware functionality beneath the retro styling.
• The Body Finish: Professionally finished using a 2K polyurethane spray-can in RAL 1019 Grey Beige.
• Gloss Level: A dedicated satin/eggshell finish, deliberately chosen to replicate the authentic, non-reflective, industrial plastic texture of the original 1982 "breadbox" chassis rather than a modern high-gloss look.
• The Pickguard: A vibrant, custom-designed blue pickguard displaying the iconic Commodore BASIC startup screen.
• Custom Electronics: Fully functional, custom-wired illuminated red "Power" LED that lights up when plugged in, matching the original computer's power indicator.

Authentic Character & Custom Logsheet
As a bespoke, hand-crafted creation from the Six Blade Revival Station, this instrument proudly bears the unique and subtle traces of its manual creation process. Minor visible character marks around the inset original components and slight, artisan imperfections in the 2K finish are a natural part of this artisan process, serving as a guarantee of its authentic, handmade origin and giving the guitar its distinctive personality and soul.
