Dominican red amber（ドミニカ共和国レッドアンバー）は、稀少で淡い色調を持つ琥珀の一種です。主にサンティアゴ近郊の山脈にある琥珀鉱山で産出します。一般には red-shelled amber（赤い殻の琥珀）と呼ばれ、その色を得る理由は、最初に採掘される琥珀、地表に最も近い地点のものが最も地球を高温にするためです。稀少性ゆえに知られていないものの、ドミニカ共和国の琥珀が発見された時から存在してきました。私たちはそれが紫外線に反応することを知っています。推定年齢は約2500万年〜4400万年です。水のように透き通り、完全に透明で、コレクターにとって唯一無二の欠陥のない珠玉であり、これまでCatawikiで出品されたことはなく、高品質です。その希少性についても正直に認めざるを得ません。
