2018 Lionnet, Verset et Vincent Paris - Cornas, Rhône - 6 Bottles (0.75L)

Discover the Cornas and/ or have fun with 6 bottles and 3 producers. Located on the right bank of the Rhône, the vineyards of Cornas enjoy a continental climate tempered by Mediterranean influences. The summers are hot and dry, which favors the full maturity of the syrah. The decomposed granite soils, locally called gore, are renowned for giving wines their power and longevity. The history of the appellation, long discreet in front of Hermitage or Côte-Rôtie, stands out today thanks to talented winemakers who perpetuate the tradition of powerful and distinguished great reds, with remarkable aging capacity. This dry red wine is composed of 100% Syrah, a single grape variety allowed in the appellation. - 3 bottles of Signature 2022 by Verset A&E: The 2022 vintage promises to be a year of beautiful maturity thanks to favorable climatic conditions, offering concentrated berries with an expressive bouquet. Will be at maturity between 2030 and 2040 - 2 bottles Terre Brulée 2018 from the Lionnet estate: rated 17/20 by the RVF, superb representative of the Cornas. Granite soils give the wines an incomparable minerality and a robust structure. Elegant and expressive wine, with notes of black fruits, pepper and a subtle floral complexity. In maturity until 2030. - 1 bottle of Granit 30 2020 from Vincent Paris: a Cornas full of spirit that shows a lot of aromatic notes and a rather supple structure for the appellation. Nose of black fruits coated with spices on a soft floral framework bearing elegance. The palate is fleshy but particularly digestible and elongated.
