■ Overview

This is the Olympus PEN S f/2.8 half-frame camera. Released in 1960, it was designed by the legendary engineer Yoshihisa Maitani. This is the top-tier model of the original PEN series, featuring a bright f/2.8 lens and an upgraded shutter system capable of speeds up to 1/250 sec.

■ Condition

・Appearance: True Vintage Character.
The exterior shows noticeable signs of its history, including deterioration and peeling of the chrome plating on the lens barrel. However, please do not let the worn look fool you—this camera has been completely serviced and is in perfect working order! It has a wonderful authentic vintage vibe for daily use.

・Optics: Serviced & Clean.
The lens was disassembled and fully cleaned.
No fungus, no haze, and no scratches.
The viewfinder is clear with no frame loss.

・Functional: Fully Serviced & Works Perfectly.
All light seals have been replaced with brand new ones.
Old grease in the helicoid was removed and new grease was applied.
Focus has been accurately adjusted.
The shutter fires smoothly at all speeds (B, 1/8 to 1/250 sec) without stopping.
Aperture, film counter, winding, and flash sync are all working perfectly.
